When I walked into Erica’s getting ready suite on the day of the wedding, I had NO idea what to expect. She and Davin were one of those couples who I didn’t have much interaction with prior to the wedding day, but it only took an instant for me to sense what a perfect fit they were going to be for LBP.
Erica was unafraid to let her little dog Baxter lounge around her getting ready suite and even cozy up onto her gorgeous pale pink organza wedding gown. She was full of smiles, patience, and took her entire day in stride.
Sean got equally lucky with Davin, who was one of the most genuine and expressive grooms we’ve had the privilege to photograph recently. He was equally easy going and cooperative, allowing Sean to come away with what I think is some of his best getting ready work to date.
The couple opted for a first look, creating the opportunity for one of my favorite moments of the day. Afterwards we did a quick wedding party shot followed by the ceremony.
This couple was the perfect combination of romantic and silly, and it really showed in their portraits.
Sean and I always have a blast photographing receptions, and this Pines at Genesee shindig was no exception.
