My socks never match, because who ever sees a person’s socks anyway; weddings I’m shooting are the only place I’ll ever turn down a glass of wine; the filter between my brain and my mouth shorts out far more often than it should, hence all the laughing photos in our portfolio; I have been deemed honorary bridesmaid at more weddings than I care to admit; I’ve considered adding “friend for life” to my packages, because I just can’t seem to get rid of you people after the wedding ; yes, I know where you left your shoes at the reception, and finally, if you ask me if you should have live peacocks at your wedding, I’m not afraid to tell you they more likely to crap on your dress than cooperate for photos.

If you don’t have four legs and a tail, don’t expect a hug from me. If there’s no way I’ll ever use it, I collect it. I’m a man of few words, but everyone who hears me speak either wants to adopt me or marry me. I pity the poor fool who tries to date my daughter – the only exception to the four legs and a tail rule. If one of my DVDs gets out of order, I’ll stop on my way to the bathroom to move it back… I blame the Marine Corps for making me this way. For every mushy word I refuse to say, I show with my actions, making my wife the most spoiled woman in the world.

Our Mantra

Lauren Brimhall Photography is a husband/wife photography team. We believe truly great wedding photography is achieved with a sense of humor, great lighting, an a fun/relaxed relationship between photographer and client.

Our Style:

What we want for every bride is the same thing we wanted for ourselves  back when we were interviewing photographers for our own wedding: A photojournalistic mixture of candid and posed shots to tell the story of your one special day for decades after it has passed. We click now and ask questions later. What we specialize in are the artistic captures of events taken as they happen — the photos that set your memory book apart from the many others your poor guests have probably been forced to flip through. So that’s our goal — beautiful portraits of brides, both classy and whimsical shots of couples, your guests butt bumping one another, whatever it is that’s happening in that moment  we want to capture it all.

Company History

Lauren Brimhall Photography is a Denver-Colorado based wedding and select portrait photography company. We started our business in the Northeast and have had great success there, allowing us the opportunity to shoot weddings at iconic locations such as New York City, Philadelphia, Princeton University, and the Pocono Mountains. We eventually moved to Denver in 2011.
