So the other day, I finally got analytics working on this darn blog, and would you believe, it gets more traffic than my Web site… on days I don’t even post anything new! Holy cow, readers, I feel so loved! Anyhow, with this new information, something suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks… my blog is so flipping ugly! That, in turn, got me thinking, well so is my Facebook Page and my Twitter page, and how do other people make theirs look so pretty? After a little bit of research, I came to discover a few things…<\/p>\n

1.) You can pay to have some customize your Facebook and Twitter Pages, big surprise there!<\/p>\n

2.) I’m pretty sure they make it as difficult as possible to customize your Facebook and Twitter pages so someone else out there has a job doing it for you.<\/p>\n

3.) Like most things, you can do it yourself if you have half-decent design skills and a whole lot of time to Google up every step in the process.<\/p>\n

Being the Photoshop freak that I am, I chose option three. This is the only time of year I would ever have time to do something like this, so I definitely wanted to take advantage and save some money. So take a look everyone… how did I do?<\/p>\n

If you haven’t done so already, you’ll want to go my Facebook Business Page<\/em><\/a> and click “like,” especially if you follow the blog, because it will keep you updated via your Facebook newsfeed of when I make new posts! I also put other non-blog worthy announcements up there, so don’t miss out! <\/p>\n

Now onto My Twitter Page<\/em><\/a> that I finally broke down and created a few weeks ago. Yes, I was dragged kicking and screaming to yet another social networking site. Oh the evils of running a business! I have to hand it to Twitter though, I found it much easier to customize my page through them than through Facebook, which still doesn’t look all that special in my opinion. Dare I say Twitter might actually be growing on me? Feel free to “follow” me on there, and when you get there, be sure not to laugh at my number of followers… I just started this thing! So what does everyone think of my design? <\/p>\n

So with Facebook and Twitter out of the way, it’s onto the much bigger project of revamping this blog! Stay tuned for a much prettier, user friendly blog… you know… one that actually might be categorized for you? Or have a flipping picture at the top of it!
