It was actually less than a year ago that I had my turn in a white dress, so I don\u2019t know if that makes it more or less likely that Sandy would choose to do things so similarly to the way I did on my own wedding day, but here are the facts: Sandy and I both had Oriental Lilies as our wedding flower, we both had approximately the same number of guests, same number of bridesmaids, entered the reception hall to the Black Eyed Peas AND danced our father daughter dance to \u201cI loved her First.\u201d I suppose it\u2019s no wonder we get along so well!<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t wait for Sandy\u2019s wedding to get here. I arrived at her house just in time to catch the stylist finishing up her perfect hairdo and capture some shots. It\u2019s a black-and-white photo, but here\u2019s another coincidence to add to the list\u2026 I\u2019m a natural blonde.<\/p>\n

Next stop was the salon to get Sandy\u2019s makeup done. She hardly ever wears makeup but dang did it look good on her!<\/p>\n

When we got back to the house, I snagged whatever items were available to photograph.<\/p>\n

Then the bridesmaids started flooding into the house putting the final touches onto their ensembles.<\/p>\n

Without further delay, it was Sandy\u2019s turn to get ready.<\/p>\n

Then we were off to the reception venue. I came to really love this old Lincoln by the end of the night. You\u2019ll see why\u2026<\/p>\n

Ceremony time! <\/p>\n

Finally Sandy\u2019s husband, Jeff was literally hopping down the aisle with joy! According to my husband, she\u2019s now his property\u2026 I say it\u2019s the other way around!<\/p>\n

As per Sandy\u2019s request, we did some traditional-style formals for the family members and came up with some more nontraditional ones for the bridal party members.<\/p>\n

I was really looking forward to just-the-couple time with Sandy and Jeff. They were naturals in front of the camera during the engagement session and I was hoping that would be the case on their wedding day as well. BOY WAS IT EVER! Now you can see why I love that Lincoln!<\/p>\n

I\u2019m sure it helps that it is nearly impossible to take a bad picture of Sandy. She is one of the most photogenic people I\u2019ve ever met! And Jeff\u2019s certainly not too shabby himself\u2026 That\u2019s right Mr. Brimhall, I said another guy was handsome \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n

After like five sets of, \u201cJust one more picture!\u201d we finally headed back to the reception hall. This was one of the rare occasions where I actually had a second shooter\/assistant, and was therefore able to set up portable lighting throughout the venue. I have Peter Miller<\/a> to thank for taking some beautiful pictures of details, and this stunning first dance shot. <\/p>\n

As the night was wearing on and the guests were starting to creep onto dance-floor, the shot opportunities started getting better and better.<\/p>\n

By the time the bouquet\/garter toss rolled around, the heat was almost unbearable, but the little DIY favor-fans the bride was using to cool herself down look pretty fun in pictures.<\/p>\n

Jeff tossed the garter bouquet-style (sorry Jeff, haha) and it was time to go home. As I was saying my goodbyes to Sandy, Pete snapped this photo of me in one of my feeble attempts to get my groove on with the bride. I look tired and sweaty, and as usual, Sandy somehow looks fantastic! You go girl! <\/p>\n
