2012 was a year of big changes here at Lauren Brimhall Photography. Not only was it our first full year operating out of Colorado after making the move from the northeast, but it also saw the birth of Sean and I’s first child, Austin Marie Brimhall. She is such a blessing in our lives, despite the fact she decided to be born smack-dab in the middle of wedding season, causing us to take some of our normally busiest months off. However, we still managed to capture a lot of memorable moments worthy of a recap!<\/p>\n

February saw me back in the northeast for Regan and Davin’<\/a>s winter wedding at Naninas in the Park<\/a> in New Jersey. We kicked off the year with some of our most emotional moments.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Our next wedding, Brenda and Jarrod<\/a>‘s at the Stonebrook Manor<\/a> in Thornton yielded the most excited mom ever to see her daughter\/flower girl walk down the aisle.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

In June we traveled as far into the mountains as we had yet for a wedding to shoot Mindy and Tyler<\/a>‘s gorgeous event at the Club at Crested Butte<\/a>!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

July was a bust, since I was MASSIVELY pregnant, and baby Austin was born July 13, 2012. We were quick to return to work, though, as the very first weekend in August we headed to Estes Park for Shannon and Jon<\/a>‘s wedding at the fabulous Della Terra Mountain Chateau<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

By the second weekend in August we were in Denver shooting Amanda and James<\/a>‘ wedding at the Grand Hyatt<\/a> Pinnacle Club, another wedding with no shortage of beautiful moments.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The first week in September we shot Hillary and Devin<\/a>‘s quaint Inn at Cherry Creek<\/a> wedding, also stopping by Cheesman Park for some photo time.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Just seven days later came our very first Vail Village wedding at the Larkspur Restaurant<\/a> with the lovely Kendyl and Jason<\/a>, where the beauty of the location was well overshadowed by the couple’s awesome personalities. I found this last shot of them while I was culling their final collection and snickered to myself \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Just as we began the year, we ended it in the Northeast when Brendon and Darcy<\/a> flew us back to shoot their Gramercy Mansion<\/a> Wedding in Baltimore, MD. We were huge fans of this venue and the couple who loved us enough to fly Sean and I out!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Our last trip to the east coast was to second shoot Laura and Dave<\/a>‘s wedding at the gorgeous Hotel Dupont<\/a> in Wilmington, DE with Jim Heine<\/a>. From the bride’s bedridden grandmother’s bedside to the couple’s high-end and high-energy reception, it was another very emotional day!<\/p>\n
