One thing I love about documenting families is getting a rare glimpse into the lives of others. It’s amazing to see how one family of four may lead a completely lifestyle than another, even if they live in the same town, have kids the same ages/genders etc. The way each family plays together, the way they show affection, the way the kids interact with one another… these are all factors in creating images that are so uniquely their own.
One thing I especially loved about Marcus and Michele’s family was the special relationship their daughters had with each other. They had moments of acting crazy together, crying together, laughing together, and even giving each other looks that I’m certain only the two of them understand.
