I didn’t get to meet Hillary and Deven until their actual wedding day, and I remember walking in and being taken aback by what a beautiful bride Hillary was! She was a little nervy at the start of the day, but by the end she was cool as a cucumber having finally married the man she’s been in love with for the past five years. Hillary and Deven’s wedding took place at the Cherry Creek Inn this past Saturday, and the location was a cute little hidden gem in a very quaint part of Denver, Colorado.

I got to speak to Deven a little while we were setting up the couple’s first look, and he was such a friendly fellow, and a pretty hardcore ::cough:: Chicago Bears ::cough:: fan. Whew, it was hard to get that out. Have I mentioned how excited Sean and I are that football season officially started yesterday? Yeah, that’s right, Deven, GO BRONCOS! 😛

First order of business was the couple’s first look, which we did right outside the Inn, afterwards we headed to Cheesman park for some wedding party and bride and groom photos.

Afterwards it was a rooftop ceremony on the second story of the Inn. The area had a very garden feel to it with brick walls, potted plants and cobblestone floors.

The whole reception was outdoors and we just loved the look of the lights and lanterns strewn overhead. The best man gave a tear-jerker of a speech, which was followed by the couple’s first dance and dinner and conversation.

To Hillary and Deven: It was amazing to finally meet you both! I’m so happy for you as you begin the journey of marriage together and wish you the best in life and love!
