Clients must really be getting wind of our themed engagements, because we seem to have had a lot of requests for them lately! Not that we mind, of course; we enjoy any opportunity to have fun and be creative. Needless to say when Chelsi and Andy approached us about using “A River Runs Through It” as the inspiration for their shoot, we were pretty excited!
Andy recently picked up fly fishing as a hobby, which is where the couple got the idea for the theme. We threw in a couple of suggestions and prop ideas of our own, and ta-da! We couldn’t be happier with the results.
Of course it didn’t hurt that Andy was perfect for the part and Chelsi is just plain gorgeous, not to mention the Fall Season couldn’t have provided us with a prettier backdrop at every turn. Even the chickens were sexy…
A big thanks goes out to Chairs With Character, a vintage chair rental company in Colorado that was kind enough to allow us to borrow one of their lovely chairs for the shoot!
Chelsi and Andy also brought their little dog along, and not only did he go along perfectly with the look and feel of the shoot, of all the dogs I’ve worked with for engagements, he had to be one of the friendliest!
To Chelsi and Andy: Thanks so much for giving us the opportunity to do such a fun session with you! It was definitely your personalities that made the shoot what it was and Sean and I can’t wait to work with you again for your Estes Park wedding in June!
What great pictures! I’m glad the chair worked out. I love your alice in wonderland theme too .. the chairs would have been perfect for that shoot too!
I’ll link back to your blog tomorrow.
Thanks, Nancy
