Cailey and Kenneth are the kind of couple that make me think of things like homemade Cherry Pie and Nicholas Sparks novels… I just can’t put my finger on it. They are young, Christian and in love, like they might have been born in the 1940s or some other more-wholesome era… No offense to the rest of us 20th-century-ers of course 😉
While we were a little disappointed that things hadn’t quite “greened up” yet in time for their shoot this past Friday, the Clear Creek History Park is one of those locations that you can certainly work with any time of year.
We did, however, happen upon one little patch of “Spring” while shooting down by the creek and pretty much milked it for all it was worth. These pretty little yellow/green flowers were one of the highlights of our shoot.
It also didn’t hurt that we also had a gorgeous sunshine-y day to work with and a couple that could have pretty much been models (if you hadn’t already noticed!). I ADORED Cailey’s gorgeous long locks and Kenneth’s handsome smile!
I mean really, who else could make a boring old farm fence look like THIS…
These two are planning to tie the knot at the Della Terra Mountain Chateau in August and we couldn’t be more excited! I feel extremely lucky to have such fantastic couples this year, and Cailey and Kenneth are no exception. The wedding of two people as sweet as they are is going to be one heck of an amazing thing to celebrate!
