Trisha and Justin are a Pinterest-loving, Style-Me-Pretty-Stalking type bride and groom, but I think what attracted them to Sean and I was that they also have a fun, adventurous side that really meshes well with our photojournalistic, spontaneous photography style! We of course also have in common a great appreciation for epic landscapes, especially when it comes to bride and groom photos!
That being said, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs was the perfect Colorado wedding venue for these two, complete with gorgeous views, a stream with old cars stuck in the riverbed, and a garden area for the ceremony… but we’ll get to all that later. First, let’s see some getting ready photos – the cabins were beautiful inside!
After their first look, we convinced the couple to take a short ride in the car with us to get some better views of Mt. Princeton. We couldn’t have found a better spot for pictures!
The ceremony was short and sweet, and afterwards we had some fun in the riverbed…
The couple made a great choice in hiring Jessica Hearing as their wedding coordinator, and she was able to provide the majority of their reception decor from her shop, A Vintage Affair Events and Rentals. So much thought was put into every setup, we went a little crazy on the detail shots…
Trisha and Justin, thanks so much for entrusting us to document your one special day – it was a privilege and a pleasure. I think this last shot taken at the end of the night makes the perfect farewell, off-to-enjoy-your-honeymoon keepsake!
