We always end up booking the NICEST couples at the Gramercy Mansion in Baltimore, MD, and Andy and Lisa were no exception. In one of our very early email correspondences, Andy shared a picture he had taken at a friend’s wedding that he was awfully proud of… the photo was of a bride and groom still dressed to the nines on their wedding day playing beer pong with cheese balls at 1am… from that moment on, I knew that he and Lisa were going to be our kind of couple!
I started with some shots of the ladies getting ready while Sean covered the gentlemen… I couldn’t help myself, I just love them all in black and white…
The couple opted for a “first look,” something we’re always big advocates of! We had just enough time to knock out a few bride and groom pictures and a wedding party shot before the Ketubah signing. I love the moment Sean caught there as Andy was lifting Lisa’s veil to find an adorable, gitty bride underneath!
The sun made a few final appearances during the ceremony, which was very sweet.
Speeches were followed by the special Jewish Hora dance. I believe the couple was sharing their wedding day with not one, but BOTH sets of parents, so in addition to the bride and groom, the MOB and MOG both got hoisted during the celebration!
To Andy and Lisa: So it would appear that you two are FINALLY married! 😉 I can hardly express how genuinely happy I am for you and hope the photos are everything you imagined they’d be! You two deserve it!
