I knew from my very first chat with Sarita that we were going to be a great fit for her and Chirag’s spectacular Indian Wedding coming up in November! We have been very excited about branching out into doing more and more cultural weddings, and Sarita’s personality and photography wants seemed to mesh perfectly with our fun, photojournalistic style.
I had a blast doing this couple’s engagement session ALL OVER Philly! I admit I had my doubts we’d make it to all three locations they had chosen in the allotted two hours time, but with Sarita’s keen planning and the help of Chirag’s sister and brother-in-law as chauffer’s, we were totally able to make it happen!
We started off in Olde City, where unfortunately, the Merchant’s Exchange Building was completely covered in scaffolding, but I was quite happy to settle for a cool looking historic bank nearby.
By the time we got to City Hall, I noticed two things: 1.) That Sarita was a natural in front of the camera! and 2.) The Chirag I was seeing wasn’t the “real” Chirag. The real Chirag is a way more fun, relaxed type of guy and I changed my direction a little to make him feel more comfortable. I think his smile becomes so much more genuine after our chat 🙂
By the time we got to Race Street, I felt so comfortable with this couple. The light was beautiful and we were all just being natural and having fun!
Chirag and Sarita, I absolutely can’t WAIT for your wedding! Thank you so much for entrusting me with such an important event. I’ll have an AMAZING and FUN team with me that day and we’re all really looking forward to it!
