So I offered to loan Danielle my kittens because it seemed she had already incorporated everything into her wedding plans except kittens. It was just a joke, really, but it turns out she’s allergic to cats. Anyway, that was actually how a lot of our real-life plans went that day. We had wanted to go to Liberty State Park, fire off some confetti canons, toss the bride, pop champagne, a visit from her pups, literally everything we could think of. Then of course it rained and we couldn’t get to the park, the venue wouldn’t allow the canons in or the pups, and I think we just forgot about the champagne… who even knows.

But I’ll tell you what DID happen; Danielle and Rocco got married! It was a beautiful, perfect wedding and we didn’t NEED any crazy plans or epic photo locations to capture those amazing moments and memories for her. She and Rocco made an absolutely gorgeous couple, and my second photographer Dan and I used every creative nerve ending in our combined brains to come up with the stunning bride and groom photos she had imagined right inside the Venetian.

The types of fun shots she had tried to plan still happened but in a more authentic way, because my images have never been planned or staged to begin with. So what Danielle ultimately ended up with was pared down to me capturing just her and Rocco’s true selves… and looking at these images, all I can think to say is that everything happens for a reason.

Congratulations you two! Here’s to happily ever after!
