As an artist, there’s nothing more fun than having the opportunity to work with other artists. This past Monday I had the pleasure of getting to do just that. Vanessa and Alex are a fun, quirky couple who met while working as interns at McCarter theater in Princeton, NJ. So when it came time to schedule their engagement session and they saw Princeton on my list of recommended locations, it only made sense to stop by the theater for a few nostalgic photos of the two of them. The theater wasn’t exactly camera ready when we arrived and we weren’t able to use the stage, but I knew that just being there meant something special, so we made some fun things happen!
Vanessa and Alex were slightly less interested in pictures on the University campus since they did not attend Princeton, so we wandered around town taking pictures in random places and hit up the local ice cream shop. We only passed through the campus on our way to and from the theater, but I couldn’t resist just a couple architectural shots along the way. I’m so happy I had the opportunity to get to know this adorable couple a little, and can’t wait to photograph their wedding come July!
