Ever since I shot my very first Indian wedding back in 2013, I’ve been totally in love with South Asian weddings. Everything from the colors, to the unique traditions, to the movement, clothing and bling, makes me feel happier than a pig in you know what. The moments and possible compositions are just endless, and I love to thrive in the chaos.
The only thing better than Indian weddings is hybrid Indian weddings! And that’s exactly what I was lucky enough to capture for Melissa and Devon a couple weeks ago. Their two-day event started with a beautiful Sangeet the Embassy Suites Hilton and ended with both an Indian and traditional ceremony at Kings Mills in Media, PA.
The Indian ceremony site adorned with pink and white florals was one of the most beautiful I’ve had the opportunity to photograph and Melissa looked stunning in all three outfits. The traditional ceremony indoors captured a lot of emotions for the couple and family, and the party afterwards was full of life and dancing. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day for this beautiful couple!
