Alisha and Brian were the very first Colorado couple to book me for their wedding! While my husband Sean was out looking for a place for us to live in Denver, he met these two, and just loved… their apartment, haha, just kidding, he loved them too! It wasn’t long before Sean found out that Alisha and Brian were planning to tie the knot in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, this November. Lucky for us, they still hadn’t settled on a photographer, and so, that became us!
Ever since then, it’s been great getting to know Alisha. She and I have discussed everything from her dress to her wedding colors and attire, and I can already picture their gorgeous destination wedding so well in my head. As wedding season will be coming to a close and the weather cooling down, November is also the perfect time of year for me to be able to spend an extra couple of days in Mexico… and I think everyone knows just how much I love to travel internationally.
Anyway, I’ll shush-up now and show you some pictures from their awesome engagement shoot we did early Friday morning. Alisha looked adorable in her perfect pink dress and shorty cowboy boots, and surely Brian wasn’t so bad himself!
I was pretty happy that I finally got to shoot some mountains out here. Don’t get me wrong, Red Rocks was awesome, but this is Colorado, after all!
Alisha and Brian have been together for seven and a half years, but somehow they still have that “new love” look to them. You know, that kind would annoy the crap out of single people because they are just so darn cute together?
To Alisha and Brian: I can’t even begin to say how happy I am that you were among the first people Sean and I met moving out here. You’re not just our landlords, or even just our clients, but I’m so happy to also call you our friends. You’re wedding is going to be amazing, emotional, and even more epic than these pictures! I’m so excited for you, and honored to be a part of all the amazing plans you have in store. Thank you so much for choosing us!
Beautiful, I’m loving the mountains, you have some kick ass scenery to work with. Very nice work Lauren, as usual.
