My first impressions of Carolyn and Mike were, cute, fun, and sweet as pie! They have three precious children between them, and I have to say, they must be the LUCKIEST kids on the planet to have Carolyn and Mike for parents! In fact, if they were my parents, I would bring these wedding photos of theirs to show-and-tell just to brag about how cool my family is 🙂
Their wedding was held this past Friday, Sept. 23, at Normandy Farm in Blue Bell, PA. This venue had so much character, which I really wanted to embrace with my detail shots. Thankfully, Carolyn gave me plenty of time for “getting ready” and I was able to achieve just that!
As expected, Carolyn made the most beautiful bride. Not only did her Sottero-Midgely gown look absolutely perfect on her, it got the BEST reaction from her dad when he walked in and saw her all decked out for the first time. I was so lucky to click at just the right moment to capture that!
The bridal party was lovely and LARGE! I definitely appreciated that they were so cooperative for photo time though!
Mike got ready with the boys, including his two sons. Little boys in tuxedos = way too cute for words… it was almost unfair to the groom! My husband and second shooter for the day did a fabulous job capturing both dad, kids and the rest of the groomsmen too!
I have no idea what kind of direction Sean gave them to get this next picture, but I’m totally in love with it, ha!
Carolyn and Mike opted for a first look to make enough time for photos. Especially with such a large bridal party, we’d have never had time to set up shots like this next one had they not! Afterwards, the rain put a bit of a damper on our plans for outdoor bride-and-groom photos, but we definitely made the most of the few indoor locations that were available to us.
Due to the rain, the ceremony was also moved indoors. Luckily if all of their event had to be in one location, Carolyn and Mike could not have picked a prettier one for it!
The reception followed immediately after… I was shocked at how quickly and beautifully the room was transformed!
The couple had a beautiful first dance, followed by some speeches and a CRAZY party afterwards! Of all the awesome guests, topping the list of most fun couples, was still Carolyn and Mike… these two are a freakin’ riot!
To Carolyn and Mike; you two are an absolutely beautiful couple, outside and in. My husband and I really enjoyed spending Friday with you and your awesome family and friends. We never got in a photobooth with a couple before, but that’s how truly welcome you made us feel, and it was a blast! There is so much to love about you both, it was our privilege to capture it all in pictures for the whole world to see. Congrats you two!
