Having already recapped our favorite wedding moments in “Best of 2012 Wedding Moments,” it’s time to move on to our favorite portraits from last year! If you’re curious about where any of these images were taken, please refer to our moments recap where all the venues were listed and linked.

Our first wedding of the year, Regan and Davin’s, took place in February – it was a bit chilly and already dusk by the time we got around to portraits, but the couple’s wedding party shot was one of our favorites, and I’m still swooning over Regan’s beautiful fur shawl.

Next up was Brenda and Jarrod‘s wedding in Thornton, which resulted in one of our favorite goofy wedding party shots of the year.

Mindy and Tyler took the prize for best views with their gorgeous mountain-top wedding in Crested Butte. Of course just being a flat-out beautiful couple didn’t hurt their portraits any either.

April and James did their wedding portraits at Red Rocks…

The Della Terra became one of our new favorite venues to shoot at this year, as the grounds there also offered no shortage of scenic backdrops. I totally adored the fun Sean had with the groomsmen group shots at Shannon and Jon‘s, too.

We went from the mountains to the city with Amanda and James‘ Denver Hyatt wedding. This couple picked some great locations to shoot at and were super fun to work with!

Hillary and Devin‘s wedding was next on the agenda, and the garden behind the pillars at Cheesman Park looked simply enchanted that first week in September.

For Kendyl and Jason‘s wedding, we drove out all the way out to Vail, which we’d happily do again, and again, and again…

Our last two weddings of the year brought us back to the East coast, where we still book a limited number of off-season weddings for no travel fees each year. Brendon and Darcy‘s wedding was at a stunning mansion in Baltimore, MD…

… while Laura and Dave‘s wedding took place at the renowned Hotel Dupont in DE, which concluded our 2012 wedding season.

All in all I consider us to have been very lucky this year – blessed not only with beautiful locations to shoot, but equally amazing couples. 2013 is already projected to be an even busier year, and we’re looking forward to seeing even more of our new home state of Colorado, as well as enjoying a few more visits back to the northeast. Bring it on!
