A little over a week ago, Peter Miller had me along to shoot Stacey and Justin’s wedding at the Skyview Golf Club in Sparta, NJ. I was on groom detail, so I arrived at Justin’s house bright and early to get shots of him and his boys getting ready.

There is something about a guy with a pin in his mouth that you just have to stop and appreciate for a second.

These handsome gentlemen put the finishing touches on the groom and the best man looked ready to roll, hehe. I also stopped and snapped these other shots of the ring and the groom somewhere along the way.

One more shot of the groomsmen looking all dapper.

Then it was time for the ceremony. Stacey and Justin picked quite a beautiful venue for their event.

Afterwards, we took some shots of the couple around the venue grounds … I think if my father knew about this golf course was, he’d come to visit me more often!

This sunset shot was taken when we snuck out for it during the reception, but I’ll throw it in the sequence here.

Speaking of the reception… I took some detail shots for Pete. I thought the cake topper was especially awesome because I used a similar one with the groom jumping off the cake and the bride holding him back by his neck collar for my wedding 😉

The bride’s father having recently passed away, she danced a very emotional first dance with her brother. Even during the speeches, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.

Like any good wedding, there were tears but there was plenty of roll-on-your-back laughter too. Stacey and Justin’s reception was one of the liveliest I’ve seen so far. Of course nothing tops my sister’s wedding where we crazy bridesmaids cut our long dresses short with scissors to dance in the heat!

I have to hand it to the DJ, he had no shortage of props. One minute the guests were rockin’ Moroccans, the next it was men-in-black shades, then Hawaiin leis… what a supply!

Even the Bartenders at the venue couldn’t resist getting in on the fun by the end of the night.

I just wanted to throw out one last congrats to the couple and a big thanks to Pete for having me along. This was certainly one wedding I wouldn’t have wanted to miss!
